Many communities, while commonly considered “towns”, actually are parts of Connecticut’s 169 towns. If you cannot find a “town” – go to the following website of the Connecticut State Department of Economic and Community Development: www.ct.gov/ecd/cwp/view.asp?a=1106&q=251022 to find the town within which it is located. The following is a list of commonly used sub-towns in 2-1-1’s Community Resources Database with the towns where they are located:
