The Workforce Investment Act is an Advisement-based employment & training service program. The WIA Service Orientation provide you an opportunity to learn about our services in more detail as well as beginning the application to determine eligibility for our services. Services offered to eligible participants include: skill assessment, local job market review, provision of resources for career research, creation of a task-oriented employment plan, job referral, eligibility for traditional training opportunities, eligibility for on the job training opportunities, referrals to area programs to resolve employment barriers and many more individualized services geared toward obtaining employment.
