Grandparent visitation rights often become an issue when parents divorce and the custodial parent denies grandparents the opportunity to visit their grandchildren. Although every state now has laws addressing this issue, the laws vary from state to state, and some laws have been challenged in the courts. For grandparents concerned about their right to visit their grandchildren, here are some resources that offer information and/or support.
