Essential requirements for school bus drivers:
Valid Driver’s license and be at least 21 years of age; minimum 3 years verifiable regular driving experience and clean driving record; must be willing to submit to and pass a drug and background screen, 10 years of work history, 7 years of residency and a required DOT physical.
Hourly wages/bonuses:
Bristol – $23.00, East Hartford – $21.00, Manchester – $21.00, Vernon – $18.50, West Hartford – $20.43.
$2,500.00 sign on bonus for fully licensed CDL drivers with required endorsements. $1,500.00 sign on bonus for non CDL drivers.
