DESCRIPTION:“Out of the Darkness\,” the Connecticut Capital Area Walk to prevent suicide\, will take place on Saturday\, Sept. 26\, at Dunkin Park\, 1214 Main Street in Hartford. \nCheck-in is at 2pm\, with the walk starting at 3pm. The walk is between one and three miles long and is non-competitive. The program includes an opening ceremony\, activities of hope and healing\, resource tables\, and complimentary honor beads. \nThe event is sponsored by The American Foundation for Suicide Prevention.
