DESCRIPTION:The Connecticut Department of Veterans Affairs (DVA) will hold its annual Stand Down event from 9am-2pm on Friday\, Sept. 20. The event will take place at five regional locations: \nBridgeport\nUniversity of Bridgeport\, Wheeler Recreational Center\, 400 University Avenue \nBristol\nGregory CCD Center\, 1043 Stafford Avenue \nDanbury\nDanbury War Memorial\, 1 Memorial Drive \nNorwich\nEaster Seals Veterans Rally Point\, 24 Stott Avenue \nRocky Hill\nCTDVA main campus\, 287 West Street \nStamford\nUConn\, One University Plaza \nThe event will provide one-stop access to social\, financial\, medical and legal services as well as well as assistance with employment\, educational and housing needs.
