The Connecticut Department of Aging and Disability Services’ State Unit on Aging (SUA) is holding a series of nine community conversations to solicit feedback about services for the aging in Connecticut. An emphasis will be placed on services funded by the Older Americans Act.
The fifth conversation will be Thursday, February 15, from 1pm-to 3pm at Quinebaug Valley Senior Center, 69 South Main Street, Brooklyn, CT.
Older people, caregivers, network professionals, and advocates are all invited to participate in any of these events. Their feedback will be used to inform a plan of action for the next three years.
Additional listening sessions, including an online-only session on March 11, will be held in the coming weeks.
Those unable to attend a session who want to provide input, may call 866-218-6631 or email agingstateplan@ct.gov
For another way to offer feedback, please complete the SUA’s supports and services survey at https://ads-sua-forms.ct.gov/232885822139060
Registration for all in-person discussions is requested but not required. To register, email agingstateplan@ct.gov or call 860-424-5111 or toll free 866-218-6631 and speak with a State Unit on Aging staff member.
