Disability Resource Fair—Hartford—Oct. 17

Capital Workforce Partners will hold its 13th Annual Disability Resource Fair on Friday, Oct. 17 from 9am – 12pm at the Oak Hill New England Assistive Technology (NEAT) Building, 33 Coventry Street in Hartford.

This event is ideal for individuals who are:

• Unemployed or under-employed
• Transitioning from school to work or higher education
• Receiving Social Security Disability benefits and considering work
• Reliant on public transportation or needing public transportation information
• Interested in learning how assistive technology can help
• Unsure of their legal rights in the workplace
• Exploring careers in manufacturing, IT, healthcare, or transportation and distribution

Note: American Sign Language interpreting services for this event will be provided by LifeBridge Community Services.
