WHO CAN ATTEND:
The clinics are open to anyone applying for a home mortgage loan and any homeowner facing foreclosure. The clinics are FREE and no preregistration is required.
WHAT:
The clinics offer information to homebuyers at different stages of homeownership about their legal rights, whether they are applying for home loans or dealing with foreclosure. The clinic will include information about fair lending laws and about the judicial foreclosure and mediation process. The presentations will also provide information on resources available to homeowners from state agencies. Following presentations, homeowners may meet one-on-one with volunteer attorneys to discuss their concerns or questions.
