Family Fun Expo and Resource Fair – New Haven – 10-10-2026

Join Connecticut Paid Leave on Saturday, October 10, from 10am-2pm, for its Family Fun and Resource Fair. The event will take place at the Dixwell Community House (Q House), 197 Dixwell Avenue, in New Haven.

Admission and parking are free.

Featured activities include crafts, face painting, balloon twisting, activities provided by The Children’s Building, and more. While the little ones enjoy the activities, caregivers can meet with community partners to gather information and resources from other state agencies, non-profits, community organizations, and small businesses around the New Haven area.

The first 100 children through the door will receive a Halloween goody bag filled with treats. Kids are welcome and encouraged to dress up or wear Halloween costumes to the event. Participate in the community partner scavenger hunt to receive a free scoop of Ben and Jerry’s ice cream.
