Health Center Week in Winsted and Torrington – (8-9-2023, at the Torrington location)

Community Health Centers in Winsted and Torrington will celebrate National Health Center Week Aug. 6-12 with free screenings, vaccination clinics and children’s activities.

The events will take place on Tuesday, Aug. 8 from 10am-2pm at the Community Health & Wellness Center, 10 Center Street, Winsted, and on Wednesday, Aug. 9, from 10am-2pm, at the Community Health & Wellness Center, 469 Migeon Avenue in Torrington.

Activities include: 

• Car seat and safety checks
• Free Covid vaccines and boosters
• Health screenings
• Opportunities to visit with community partners
• Fun activities for children
• Free refreshments, games and giveaways
• Raffle prize
