| Direct Care Workers: Recruiting Statewide for Direct Care Workers/Recovery Assistants who provide support both in-home and in other community settings to individuals with diagnosed mental illness with the ultimate goal of restoring participant’s ability to independently function and participate in social, interpersonal, family or community activities.
CNA/PCAs – Provide daily routine care such as bathing, dressing and assisting with feeding. Assist clients in active and passive range of motion, transferring, walking and pivoting. Provide daily routine care such as bathing, dressing and assisting with feeding. Light housekeeping. Converse with client to provide support, companionship, and mental stimulation and orientation. Provide client transportation and med reminders. Homemakers/Companions – Performs the following task if the participant is unable to perform them, or assisting, or cueing the participant to perform meal planning and preparation, shopping, housekeeping, basic household tasks.
