Operation Fuel, a private, nonprofit organization that provides emergency assistance for those struggling to pay their utility bills, invites the public to attend the upcoming meeting of Connecticut’s Public Utilities Regulatory Authority (PURA).
The meeting will take place from 6pm-7:15pm, May 13, at the Ives Main Library, 133 Elm Street in New Haven.
The purpose of the meeting is to hear directly from people who have been hit hardest by high energy bills. Attendees will learn about how PURA makes decisions that affect their family and quality of life and have an opportunity to share their experiences and recommendations.
