Montville AJC – “Empowered to Employed” – Job Readiness Workshop – 3-24-2026

There will be a job fair readiness workshop, “Empowered to Employed”, from 9am-11:30am, on Tuesday, March 24, 2026. It will take place at the Montville American Job Center, 601 Norwich-New London Turnpike, Montville, CT.
Participants will learn tips, tricks, and time-tested activities to help them prepare for a job fair or employer recruitment event. The interactive workshop will include topics such as:
- Creating a Job Fair-Friendly Resume
- Effective Networking and Post-Fair Follow-up
- How to Craft an Effective Elevator Pitch
- Strategies to Handle On-the-spot Applications and Interviews
