Montville American Job Center presents, “Empower to Employed,” a job fair readiness workshop to be held Tuesday, June 10, from 9am-11:30am.
The workshop will take place at the job center, located at 601 Norwich New London Turnpike in Uncasville.
Workshop leaders will offer tips, tricks, and time-tested activities to help job seekers prepare for a job fair or recruitment event.
Topics include:
- Creating a job-fair-friendly résumé
- Effective networking and post-fair follow-up
- How to craft an effective elevator pitch
- Strategies to handle on-the-spot applications and interviews
