NAMI Walks 2023, a walk to support mental health awareness, will be held May 20, beginning at 10am at Bushnell Park in Hartford. Parking is available at the State Capitol Building lot. Walkers are asked to arrive between 8:30am and 9am. Leashed pets are welcome. Pets must be good with crowds and loud music.
The walk route is stroller and wheelchair friendly. Music, snacks and children’s activities will be provided. Activities will include a best-team t-shirt contest and a best-dressed pet contest. Prizes will be awarded, and there will be special guest appearances.
Walkers are asked to turn in offline donations to a Team Captain or to the Registration Tent.
