Enjoy free food, entertainment, and a variety of activities at the Ascend Community Fair/Community Conversation from 2pm-4pm, Saturday, July 19 at the Artists Collective Inc., 1200 Albany Avenue in Hartford.

This event, postponed from last month because of inclement weather, offers a chance to learn about the North Hartford Ascend Pipeline (Ascend) and meet members of the organization.
Ascend is a cradle-to-career effort to ensure children living in the North Hartford Promise Zone—which includes the Clay Arsenal, Northeast and Upper Albany neighborhoods—have the support they need to reach their full potential.
Ascend’s Community Conversations allow residents to provide input about community needs and help shape the direction of the initiative.
