Plainville Senior Center “The Not-So-Empty-Nest” – 9-29-2026

Plainville Senior Center, 200 East Street in Plainville, is holding “The Not-So Empty Nest,” its eighteenth annual conference on grandparents raising grandchildren. The conference will take place on Tuesday, Sept. 29 from 9am-1:30pm.
Topics to be covered include:
- Signs of teen dating violence
- Understanding healthy relationships
- Supporting youth through tough situations
The Keynote speaker will be Kayla Egeworth from the Prudence Crandall Center Community Educator.
A complimentary breakfast and lunch will be available.
All grandparents who register to attend will be entered to win a tablet.
