The Red Folder Project, a program for those facing deportation, will take place from 9:30am- 11:00am, March 12, at Wickham Memorial Library, 656 Burnside Avenue in East Hartford. The Red Folder Project is an initiative designed to empower individuals at risk of deportation by helping them prepare essential documents in advance.
The project provides two tailored resources: one for individuals, which includes forms and a checklist of required documents to be assembled and securely stored for quick access, and another for community organizations, offering additional tools and guidance to support immigrants and their families. By fostering readiness, the Red Folder Project aims to streamline efforts for securing release or bond, providing peace of mind and practical support in times of crisis.
The program is sponsored by the North Central Network of Care and will be presented by CT Students for a Dream.
