UR Community Cares – Move Beyond Sight, a Walk to Support the Blind – 10-15-2026

UR Community Cares is hosting a community walk at CT State Community College, 60 Bidwell Street in Manchester. The walk will take place in the AST first-floor rotunda on Thursday, October 15, from 3pm-5pm (park in the West Lot).
The walk supports accessibility, inclusion, and equality for individuals who are blind or have low vision. Members of the National Federation of the Blind of Connecticut will be on hand to share their stories.
The event will feature giveaways and numerous resource tables. Attendees are invited to explore the campus.
