Veterans can participate in this workshop that covers the basics of developing an effective resume.  Topics include:

• Translating military skills & accomplishments into civilian terminology
• Understanding federal resume formatting
• Common resume mistakes to avoid
• Career fair success
• Interviewing techniques

There will be ample time for participants to ask questions of members of the CT Department of Labor’s Office for Veterans’ Workforce Development.
