Out of the Darkness – Suicide Prevention Walk – Dunkin Park – 9-26-2026

“Out of the Darkness,” the Connecticut Capital Area Walk to prevent suicide, will take place on Saturday, Sept. 26, at Dunkin Park, 1214 Main Street in Hartford.
Check-in is at 2pm, with the walk starting at 3pm. The walk is between one and three miles long and is non-competitive. The program includes an opening ceremony, activities of hope and healing, resource tables, and complimentary honor beads.
The event is sponsored by The American Foundation for Suicide Prevention. Funds raised directly support research, advocacy efforts and educational programs in schools and workplaces across Connecticut.
